Dale Andersson: (we work with Dale to create our very rustic framing options for clients)

Due to his background and choice of locale, Dale Andersson has a unique perspective on western living and its rustic nature which represents itself in each of his wood or carved creations. Dale was born and raised in the shadows of the Colorado Rockies and worked on mountain ranches during the summers. He owned 15+ acres of his own at the base of the Colorado National Monument in western Colorado where he and his girls raised as many as 6 horses along with some cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Dale started carving 1/3 scale carousel horses in 1993 for his first granddaughter’s birthday. After several were made, he was urged to enter the next one in the 1996 Michigan state wood carving competition. Dale’s carved rocking horse took 1st place in its category. Since that time, Dale has been creating benches, bed frames, rocking horses, carved horse busts and custom picture frames.

Dale currently lives in Texas and travels to Colorado every 2 weeks. Orders may be picked up in either state or shipped. Frame orders are taken through Pam Nickoles Photography.
