About the Photographer:
Raised in Boulder, Colorado and currently residing just outside of the classic Western town of Golden, I am a lifelong resident of Colorado. I share a home with my husband, three rescue dogs, and three horses (including a rescued, wild stallion that now runs free in Nebraska). My main passions are photography, the outdoors and animals of all varieties. Living amidst the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains and experiencing the appealing blend of Western cultures found in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, my photos inevitably reflect my deep love for the Western legacy and natural landscape that are so characteristic of the region. Horses have always occupied a special place in my heart. As a small child, I surrounded myself with horse-themed books, toys, and pictures and spent a great deal of time at a local ranch with horses for rent. As a teen, I was presented with a horse of my own, and I've always had one (or more) since. Eventually, I combined my interests and developed a business and web site devoted to outdoor, equine and western lifestyle photography, with a specialty in Wild Horse images. I also sell Greeting cards, Fine Art prints and wild horse DVDs created in support of efforts to preserve these magnificient living legends. I invite you to view my galleries and welcome your comments and any questions or requests you may have.
